Google Teases Pixel 10 Design Ahead Of Official Launch

In a surprising move, Google has officially revealed the design of its upcoming Pixel 10 smartphone through a teaser video posted on its official website. This early reveal appears to be a strategic response to frequent leaks, allowing the company to take control of the narrative ahead of the product’s formal debut.

The teaser confirms previous leaks about the Pixel 10’s appearance, which closely resembles the 2024 model. The smartphone retains familiar design elements, such as an aluminum frame and a glass back panel. While Google hasn’t confirmed the exact durability specs of the rear glass, it is expected to feature Gorilla Glass Victus 2 or an improved version, similar to the Pixel 9.

One of the most notable upgrades in the Pixel 10 is the addition of a third rear camera — a first for the base model in the Pixel series. After six generations with only two rear lenses, Google is now expanding the photography capabilities of its flagship phone. Although the exact function of the third sensor has not been detailed, it is likely to be a telephoto lens, adding optical zoom functionality and enhancing versatility in mobile photography.

Another significant improvement comes in the form of hardware performance. The Pixel 10 will be powered by the T5 chip, which is now manufactured by TSMC — the same semiconductor foundry that produces chips for companies like Qualcomm. This change is expected to bring improved power efficiency and overall performance gains, though real-world results will become clearer after the device is released.

While this teaser gives consumers an early look at what to expect, more details will be unveiled during Google’s official launch event, scheduled for August 20. Until then, enthusiasts and potential buyers can only speculate on other upgrades and features the Pixel 10 may offer.

The Pixel 10 teaser confirms a refined design, introduces a third rear camera, and highlights an upgraded chip built by a new manufacturing partner — setting the stage for what could be a more powerful and versatile generation of Google’s flagship smartphone.
