Sugar: Standard white granulated sugar works best for this syrup, although you can swap with other sweeteners like coconut sugar, honey, or agave nectar. The flavor may be a bit different, though.
Water: Regular tap water works just fine.
Lemon Juice: Freshly squeezed lemon juice is ideal, but bottled lemon juice will also work.
Vanilla Extract: Use pure vanilla extract for the best flavor.
